The GO West! Cultural Day is the official opening celebration of the Go West! Heritage month.
Gear up in your cultural outfits and get ready to move to the beat as you join the GO WEST! Dance Train Street Parade on the second Saturday of Heritage Month.
Forming part of the Go West! Cultural Day, the Parade, led by bikers, showcases the cultural diversity of our rainbow nation through a variety of dance styles including Afro-fusion, Gumboot, Pantsula, Hip-hop, Batswana, Disco, Cramp, Mbaqanga and Street Dance.
Performances by drum majorettes make the parade even more colourful.
The Dance Train Street Parade commences at a central point in Fochville and ends at Kokosi Community Hall where the audience will be entertained with performances by the various cultural groups and conclude in pure South African style with Dr Rebecca Malope.
Join us and explore a true cultural extravaganza!
